Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Plate Club. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Plate Club platform. By registering for an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. The Service

Plate Club is an invite-only platform that connects food operators with venue residency opportunities. We facilitate introductions between operators and venues but are not a party to any agreements made between them.

3. Eligibility

To use Plate Club, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have received a valid invite to join the platform
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Be authorised to represent the food business you register

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the platform to spam or harass venues or other users

6. Applications and Residencies

When you apply for a residency opportunity, your application information will be shared with the relevant venue. Plate Club does not guarantee that any application will be successful. Any agreements between you and a venue are solely between those parties.

7. Intellectual Property

The Plate Club platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Plate Club. You retain ownership of any content you submit but grant us a licence to use it in connection with providing our services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plate Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy of venue listings or the outcome of any applications.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
